AUSTRALIA

  • Tricia - my host mom
  • Gordon - my host dad
  • Kita - oldest host sister
  • Lisa - older host sister
  • Lana - youngest host sister, closest to my age. We shared a lot of friends at Cairns High and hung out a lot at home.
  • Grace, Lauren, Jordan, Laurie - closest friends at Cairns High

ITALY

  • Nikki - my main travel companion throughout Europe. We both went to GVSU, traveled all over together during our semester abroad, and are still close friends to this day.
  • Amanda - my roommate in Rome. We became great friends during my semester abroad.
  • Katie - my flatmate in Rome. We became great friends.
  • Emily - originally a friend of Nikki’s from GVSU who flew to Rome at the end of our semester in order to travel around Europe with Nikki and I. Now she’s a great friend of mine too.
  • Logan, Diana, Lindsay - my other three flatmates in Rome.
  • Jaci, Jenny, Toby, Ashleigh - girls that I traveled with in Italy and Greece
  • Troy - one of my best friends from high school who came to visit me in Italy while I was studying abroad. (I also traveled with him in Germany two years prior.)

PORTUGAL

  • Kalee - my best friend, college roommate, and travel companion. We went to Portugal while she was studying abroad in Barcelona.
  • Blair - Kalee’s flatmate in Barcelona. She went to Portugal with us as well.

    What’s the point of this travelogue, you ask? Especially when most (if not all) of these trips were taken in the past?… Well, here’s the thing. All of my photos and travel journals are spread all over the internet. I figured it would be best to have everything in one safe, organized place. This site is mostly for me. But obviously since I am putting it on the world wide web, it is for you too. Look around. Read about some of my experience. Laugh at me. Do whatever you please. Just enjoy.
